FAQ
About SG-III
How do I choose between Xingmen and Xingkong?
Xingmen is the rack host, with fuller I/O and on-board compute, for rooms, substations and sites that need central management. Xingkong is a box or DIN-rail gateway, smaller, meant to sit inside equipment or to add IoT to a legacy product. The decision follows point-table size, mounting and power.
How do I choose between SG-III and BEC6100?
Choose SG-III when you need edge-side rule evaluation, local interlocks or heavier data processing. Choose BEC6100 when you need reliable multi-protocol acquisition and uplink with a defined point count.
Is data lost during a network outage?
No. Data is buffered locally and backfilled when the link returns. How long it can buffer depends on sampling rate and point count, and is estimated against the actual point table during design.
