Case studies
Projects grouped by application scenario
Customer names, logos, site photos and platform data are not published without written authorisation. Cases are grouped by the site's application scenarios; anything that does not fit goes under Other. Each case states scale, problem, assets, approach and outcome so you can judge similarity.
01
Power and Environment Monitoring
Unified monitoring of temperature, humidity, leaks, smoke, access control, UPS and switchgear so risks are found and handled in time.
A large metallurgical group
Centralised environmental monitoring across multiple equipment rooms
22 sites — equipment rooms and plant rooms — centrally managed; edge onboarding on site, monitoring at the centre
Sites span plants, equipment types vary, and operations teams are spread out. Each site is logged into and inspected separately, so status is opaque, exceptions surface late, ownership is unclear, and handling is hard to trace.
Open the caseA television station
Environmental monitoring for telecom rooms and substations
A data-centre hall of about 160 m² and a power room of about 75 m², sharing one platform
Both rooms run unattended. Temperature, leaks, UPS, precision cooling, mains and access sit on separate devices, so duty staff find and locate issues late.
Open the caseAn airport underground tunnel network
Environmental monitoring for an underground utility tunnel
Several underground power tunnels and gallery sections, with about 35 acquisition gateways along the route; owner-supplied sensors and hundreds of video channels onboarded together
The tunnels are long, covers are scattered, and flood and gas risk changes along the route. Inspection rounds are slow; water level, covers, gas and video sit in different views; pumps cannot follow level automatically, so exceptions surface late.

Energy Efficiency and Carbon Accounting
See how energy is used, manage abnormal consumption, and turn sub-metered data into a usable base for carbon accounting.
Data center
Weinan New Energy Big Data Center
Delivered in 2024. About 11 above-ground floors with per-floor electricity meters; building water meters and park gas meters for monthly accounting; two underground parking levels with CO monitoring plus fan run, fault, remote and automatic control.
At Weinan New Energy Big Data Center, water, electricity and gas rely on master meters or scattered manual reads, so accounts only line up at month-end. Parking-garage CO and fans depend on on-site duty, so usage spikes, fan faults and poor ventilation surface late.
Open the caseA municipal water-utility headquarters
Energy metering and building control for a municipal water-utility headquarters
Delivered in 2025. About 12 floors plus the roof with per-floor electricity; live work, domestic and total water; park gas in the same monthly report; fresh-air units with status and remote control; underground garage environment trends.
Floor electricity, work and domestic water, and park gas are read separately, so accounts only line up at month-end. Fresh-air units need a site visit to see run and fault, and garage environment change has no continuous record.

Metered billing and prohibited-load monitoring
Delivered in 2024. Four dormitory buildings — about 640 rooms — plus a dozen shops and one sports hall on one billing system; about 60 meters per gateway, with smart breakers for remote switching and load detection
Dorms, shops and the sports hall follow different electricity rules. Meter reading, top-up, month-end bills and cut-off on arrears are reconciled by hand. Prohibited high-power appliances share a circuit with air conditioning, so they are found late and hard to attribute.

Smart Restroom
Environment, occupancy, consumables and facility status become visible, with traceable cleaning and exception handling.
Municipal restrooms
Star-rated public restrooms in Tianhe, Guangzhou
Delivered in 2020. Tianhe's star-rated restrooms have occupancy sensing, flush-after-use, indicators, air quality, an entrance screen and fresh-air deodorising, plus automatic lighting, floor washing and drying.
Tianhe's restrooms are busy, so odour, wet floors and finding a free stall depend on cleaners watching. Sound-activated lights can go out while a stall is still occupied; missed flushes and unwashed floors mean complaints arrive before detection.

Transport hub
Smart restrooms at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport terminal
Delivered in 2023. Terminal restrooms have stall sensing, door indicators and emergency call. About 52 smart paper dispensers and 8 smart soap dispensers watch remaining stock, and the platform also shows free stalls, air and footfall.
Baiyun Airport's terminal traffic is concentrated, so toilet paper and hand soap run out before stalls do. Cleaners refill on a fixed route, remaining stock is invisible, and passenger complaints arrive first.

Scenic area / park
Smart restrooms at Xiezhou Guandi Temple, Yuncheng, Shanxi
Delivered in 2021. Restrooms sit along the visitor route. About 10 restrooms and 120 stalls first, then about 14 more. Occupancy, air, footfall, entrance guidance and deodorising share one platform; visitors can see nearby free stalls on a phone.
Restrooms at Xiezhou Guandi Temple sit along the visitor route, and holiday traffic arrives all at once. Cleaners learn a room is full or smelly only by walking there, and visitors learn there is no free stall only at the door.

Public venue
Smart restrooms at Guangdong Science Center
Delivered in 2024. Seven restrooms and 152 stall sensors across exhibition floors first; one more later, with door-lock occupancy, an entrance guide screen and water metering.
Traffic through the galleries, cinemas and public areas at Guangdong Science Center is uneven. Study seasons and holidays can reach tens of thousands of visitors in a day, and restrooms sit on several floors. Cleaners learn a room is full or smelly only at the door.

Expressway service area
Smart restroom operations across expressway service areas for Guangdong Communications Investment
Delivered in 2024. Five service areas built to the same pattern. One site has 220 stall sensors, 2 hosts and 6 guide screens of 43 inches; about 1,100 stall sensors across five.
Guangdong Communications Investment's service areas sit far apart along the expressway, and holiday traffic arrives at once. One site has many stalls; cleaners learn it is full only at the door. Headquarters needs occupancy, odour, footfall and water across several sites, without posting someone at each.

Healthcare
A provincial-capital central hospital (confidential)
Delivered in 2023. Two phases of hospital restrooms: 75 ceiling stall sensors and 7 management hosts. Corridor smoking alerts and cleaner check-ins share one operations view.
At this central hospital, peak-hour stall vacancy is unclear, and cleaners learn a room is busy only at the door. Corridor no-smoking rules depend on patrols, cleaning attendance is unrecorded, and facilities staff need restrooms, smoking alerts and cleaning on one screen.

Park and Building Operations
Brings lighting, HVAC, water systems and common-area equipment in parks and buildings into one monitoring and interlock view.
05
Agriculture and Aquaculture
Fish ponds can be managed from home: switch aerators by phone, get a call on power loss, and protect the aerator. Greenhouses cover air, soil and irrigation, and production data accumulates.
Chuanlu Modern Agriculture Picking Garden, Dafeng, Jiangsu
Greenhouse monitoring and intelligent control at a growing base
56 greenhouses, each with air-quality sensing, soil sensing and a control cabinet; vents, roller blinds and quilts remotely controlled, with video onboarded
There are many houses and people cannot be in each one. Air and soil only show up by walking in. Vents, blinds and quilts are pulled on site, and over-travel damages the gear. What is happening inside cannot be reviewed on demand.

Aquaculture
Xiaoyunong: one phone for many fish ponds
Manage ponds from home: switch aerators by phone, get a call on power loss, and protect the aerator. The 4-, 6- and 8-channel units share these functions; pick the channel count per pond.
Aerators sit in the water. Faults and leakage trip the pond supply, and a farmer asleep at the bank may not know. Debris wraps the impeller, or the pull rope snaps, and the aerator is damaged. Switching means walking the banks. Saving a little power is awkward: start late, and the fish run short of oxygen.
